“Branding… It’s More Than Just Your Logo”

Everything you do affects your brand. Whether you’re involved in social media or community marketing events -- every time you put your company name out there, someone is watching and they develop an image of you and your business or product.

Come hear from Leah Fremouw and Talley Baratka on how to have a positive impact on that image and set your business (or yourself) apart by aligning your values, company culture and brand.


Talley Baratka - Senior Consultant

Rhudy & Co.
Talley leads the Business Strategy Practice at Rhudy & Co. where, she focuses on strategic planning, change management, organizational culture and community relations. Managing a client list made up of Fortune 500s and top-tier nonprofits, Talley has passion for creating connection and community. 
 

Talley’s devotion to the community extends beyond work. She is the founder of Impact 100 Richmond, a collective-giving organization that has raised and donated more than $1.4 million to Virginia nonprofits since 2009. She presented a TEDxwomen talk on the power of connection and was honored with a Metro Richmond YWCA’s Outstanding Woman Award and the NAWBO-Richmond’s Enterprising Women of Excellence, Community Leader Award. She graduated with honors from the University of Illinois, UC with a master’s degree in Human and Community Development.  Talley lives with a circus of three teens in her beloved Richmond, Virginia. 


Leah Fremouw - Assistant Vice President

Virginia Community Capital

Leah Fremouw is a familiar face in the Richmond business community and has a rich history of managing dynamic, fast-moving projects with multiple stakeholders. She currently serves as an Assistant Vice President at Virginia Community Capital, a financial organization deploying loans and advisory services to projects in all regions of the Commonwealth. In this role, she partners with businesses in a variety of industries and growth stages to support their movement to the next level. Prior to this role, she led talent management and cultural initiatives for CarLotz, a fast growing Richmond business, served as an organizational development consultant with the Performance Management Group at Virginia Commonwealth University, and for three years worked in the city’s public housing communities. 
She helps lead TEDxRVA, the innovative speaker series initiated in 2012, along with Impact 100, where she supports strategies to raise large grant funds for local nonprofits. Leah earned her Bachelors and Master’s degrees at VCU, where she was recognized as an L. Douglas Wilder Graduate Scholar 2008-2010.

Business After Hours and THRIVE are providing this after-work business gathering featuring a topic of interest, refreshments and a great way to meet and engage with other business people. 

ChamberRVA is all about developing relationships to help you and your business succeed. Come check it out and with a start time of 6:00 pm, PARKING will not be an issue for you.

Guests can pay $4 on their way into the deck until the deck. When the lot becomes full a sign will be put out. There is street parking as well as the deck under the James Center/Omni which is to your right as you pass 10th street going down E. Cary Street.
