Event Description:
March’s HYPE Happy Hour gets a new twirl as we head to the Richmond Ballet. We’ve been invited to view the Ballet’s technical rehearsal before their Studio Two weekend show and then mingle with the dancers for drinks afterward.
Haven’t been to the ballet before? Richmond Ballet is the state ballet of Virginia and was founded in 1957. It existed for more than twenty years as a small, civic company until 1975 when the School of Richmond Ballet was created. In 2000, Richmond Ballet moved into a newly renovated state-of-the-art facility at 407 East Canal Street in the heart of downtown Richmond – where we’ll get a tour while watching the rehearsal.
