Call Federal is passionate about providing friendly, local banking to the Richmond area.
Call Federal was founded in 1962 by employees of Philip Morris. Today, we are a $350 million community-oriented financial institution serving the diverse needs of the Richmond region. This means that all our employees live here, all decisions are made here, and your money stays here. It also means Call Federal takes a lot of pride in giving back to our community.
Instead of distributing our profits to shareholders, Call Federal returns our profits to members through better services, lower rates on loans, and financial education for the community.
In 2014, we saved our members over $3.88 million in interest on loans and $79,692 in monthly loan payments.
We are proud to support the Richmond area through a variety of organizations including Call Federal Marathon Jr., Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU, Children’s Museum of Richmond, FeedMore, Junior Achievement of Central Virginia, and Kids Run RVA.
Each year Call Federal awards four $2,500 scholarships to graduating high school seniors pursuing higher education. Learn more about our Alice S. Pearce Scholarship.
